GOYA

The mission and goal of the youth ministries is to lead our young people into experiencing the Holy Orthodox Faith. By developing a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and becoming active sacramental members of the living church, our young people will be equipped with tools necessary to assist them in their journey toward salvation. By laying a foundation of faith beginning at an early age, our young people will have something that will guide and strengthen them as they progress throughout their school years. They will accomplish this through Liturgia (Worship), Koinonia (Fellowship), Diakonia (Service), and Martyria (Witness).

GOYA is a program where our young people gather in a relaxed, social venue to share the experience of being a Greek Orthodox Christian with their peers and to learn how to relate their faith to their everyday existence. This is done through age appropriate interactive activities, discussions, service projects, retreats, social gatherings and outings, with the guidance of adult advisors.

The groups are broken down in the following manner:

We encourage all young people in the community to come join in the fellowship every third Monday of each month, between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
